Kate Freas was born in November of 1978 and is twenty-five years old. She graduated from UCSD in June of 2003, with a BA in Communications. She currently works for an architectural firm, NTD, as an Education Funding Specialist.   Kate is a skilled soccer player--a forward--who has been playing since the age of five. In addition to playing internationally, she has played for Virginia Tech, the 2000 Championship Mesa College Team (where she earned the award for most improved player), and various league teams throughout San Diego.   Kate has a remarkable heart, and her enthusiasm is infectious. Her positive energy and her knack for finding the silver lining to any gray cloud make her a rare individual indeed.   Her hobbies include soccer, reading, film, hiking, camping, crafts, and painting. She is an excellent cook who enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and learning new culinary techniques.
