Rob Woerheide and Kate Freas first met at Virginia Tech in September of 1997. Rob was a Sophomore then, and Kate was an incoming Freshman. Kate was the roommate of Kristina Burch, a friend of Jim Keane (Groomsman). Rob caught sight of Kate on the day of her move-in.   Rob immediately found himself attracted to her, and commented on her to Jim afterwards--in true male fashion. That first day she had been too busy moving in to take notice of him. But she was on Rob's mind.   They began to spend time together, Rob looking over her English papers, Kate taking the Probe past redline . . . they even spent an interesting night over a bottle of Goldschlager. In a few months they were dating. After moving to San Diego, CA in the summer of 1998, they began to live their life together.   Five years after they met, Rob proposed to Kate in April of 2002.   And here we are!
